Radon Mitigation System - Nuts and bolts.
After the site is selected, we will need to call 811 locate service and then dig the hole for the vent pipe. Next, we will cut a hole at the top of the drain pipe in preparation for the white vent pipe. The drain pipe is connected to the white vent pipe using a T-Connector. Then, the hole is filled in and the fan is connected to the vent pipe. We connect the fan to a water separator and then install downspot and a critter guard. Finally, the transformer is installed along with some labels and that completes the project. Depending on the ease of digging, access to the site and overall complexity, the average radon system installation takes about 12-16 hours. Please feel free to contact me for further details.
